Gigi's Journal - April 25, 2011

weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5

Emerson had a 5% share of the placenta, leaving Lennon with 95% of the placenta. They did share a couple of large vessels, which would have caused significant neurological damage, if not death to Lennon, when Emerson passed. After they were separated Emerson's heart rate went down to the 50's and 60's. They don't expect she will be here tomorrow when they check on the baby's again.

I am asking that no one share any of this information on Facebook, please. Do not write on my wall giving any hint to this, please. I want to respect Brooke and Chris. Give them time. While they have two healthy babies right now they are experiencing grief and need space. PLEASE be sensitive.

Don't stop praying for us.

  1. I sit here crying as I type these words. Please know that I love you and my heart is broken for the whole family. Please give my love to Chris & Brooke when the time is right. I am still praying.

  2. I am heartbroken for your family, Sharon. My prayers will continue to be with you all as you go through this.

  3. My heart is broken for all of you. I will not stop praying. Wishing all of you peace and comfort.

  4. (((hugs)))and prayers to you all. ♥

  5. May you and your family be comforted by our Heavenly Father's loving embrace ~
Big hugs and fervent prayers go out ~
    Love, Janet

  6. I am so so sorry, Sharon. I was praying all night for you all. We love you.
