Today's visit was just a BPP. Both girls scored 8 out of 8. Dr. T is very happy with how the pregnancy is progressing. This week Coeur d'Lane played shy while Lennon made herself visible. I have put together a short video of some of the visit. During the video, look close at the 3D pic of Lennon - cute!
Thirty Weeks and Two Days
Today's visit was great! Coeur d'Lane was playing with her umbilical cord and Lennon was yawning. Both girls passed the Biophysical Profile with scores of 8/8. Coeur d'Lane weighs 3 pounds 4 ounces and Lennon is quickly catching up with a weight of 2 pounds 15 ounces.
The pics on the right were taken today. The one on the far right with her hand in front of her face is Coeur d'Lane and the other one with the cute nose is Lennon.
Thanks to all of you who ready and keep them in your thoughts and prayers! It means a lot to our family.
Twenty nine weeks and two days
Yesterday's visit went very well. They did a biophysical profile (BPP). The BPP checks four different things and scores them with a 2 for normal or a 0 for abnormal. The four areas checked are amniotic fluid levels, practice breathing movements, arms and legs moving and good muscle tone. Well, the girls each scored 2 in each of the four categories! 8 out 8, which is perfect! During the ultrasound the sonographer noted that both the girls have hair. Lennon looks like she has a bit more than Coeur d'Lane. They only do the weights every two weeks so we can expect that next Wednesday. Pictures coming soon!
Twenty-eight weeks and 2 days
Today's visit was great! The girls are getting so big! Coeur d'Lane weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces and Lennon weighs 2 pounds 3 ounces. Brooke will start weekly visits now.
Last night, the Jacksonville Schmidts had a rather unusual baby shower for the girls. Chris and Brooke joined us via Video G-Chat. We projected them onto a screen on the back of the house and used a video camera so they could see and hear the activities. A special treat was when "Chris" and "Brooke" showed up to open presents. I have attached a short video in hopes that those who were not there can appreciate just how unusual it was :-)
